A Harmonious Week

What a lovely week. Monday started off with a visit from SchoolHouse Symphony. This fantastic program comes to us 3 times a year courtesy of our PTO. The kids sat beautifully and loved this exciting visit. They saw and heard a flute, a clarinet, a violin, cello, french horn and trombone. As you can see from the attached pictures, they sat mesmerized by the experience!

In Hebrew with Mrs. Scheier we are learning more about Fall and the colors of the leaves. This tied in nicely with our art project of tissue paper collages.

We had two new sensory experiences this week. In the water table we had rice and plastic vegetables to sort and play with. On the manipulative table we had play dough, and the kids really enjoyed that.

We had a lovely shabbat today with songs, challah and grape juice.
Don't forget to hand in your book order if you are interested in ordering!

Please save the date: On Wednesday, December 5th from 10:30-11:15 we are going to have a Chanukah Party for both 2 year old classes and their families. It will be a great time with songs, crafts and snacks! We can't wait to celebrate together!!

Have a great weekend!!
